Help Shape the Future of Somatic Therapy for Couples
I’m currently completing my doctoral research in Clinical Sexology and developing Marriage Rewired: A Neuro-Somatic Clinical Guide for Relational Repair and Pleasure Longevity in Trauma-Affected Couples—a practical manual designed to help therapists bring nervous system regulation and somatic interventions more directly into couples work.
As part of this project, I’m gathering information from therapists about their current relationship with somatic therapy practices.
You do not need to be a somatic therapist to participate. I want to hear from clinicians across the spectrum—from those who regularly use body-based interventions to those who are curious about somatic work but feel unsure how to integrate it into actual sessions.
The survey explores:
- How therapists currently understand and use somatic practices
- What makes somatic work easier—or harder—to integrate into therapy
- Where clinicians feel confident and where they want more support
- How somatic interventions are currently being used with couples
- What therapists would actually find useful in a practical somatics manual
Your responses will help me better understand the gap between knowing that the nervous system matters and knowing what to actually do with two activated people in the therapy room.
As a Thank You
Therapists who complete the survey can receive a special participant discount on my forthcoming somatics manual, scheduled for release in early 2027.
The survey also includes an option to indicate whether you’re interested in future somatic therapy trainings, consultation, or professional resources. I’m currently available to consult with therapists on integrating somatic approaches into couples therapy and to provide customized trainings for clinicians, group practices, and organizations—either in person or remotely.
